In 2019, David Straight joined the HT Engineering team as our Corrosion Technologist, bringing extensive expertise in the design and management of external and internal corrosion control strategies and systems for pipelines.

With more than 40 years’ experience working in and managing corrosion departments for major pipeline operators, David is well-positioned to provide the knowledge and skills required to assess current systems and develop mitigation plans and designs for new installations. He also spearheads depth-of-cover mitigation projects, ensuring that pipelines are adequately buried or protected along their entire length. David has hands-on experience with pipeline regulators and is dispositionally well-equipped to help evaluate systems and records for regulatory compliance and audit preparedness.
