As both a project and field support manager, Jason Larman offers hazardous liquid transportation pipeline and facilities operators the hands-on support and expertise needed to ensure critical maintenance, construction, and inspection projects succeed on all levels.
Jason offers expertise in maintenance and construction project management, integrity management program development and management, and materials and services procurement. In the field, he works shoulder-to-shoulder with teams to coordinate, manage, and direct projects, ensuring that the work moves ahead according to plan and specifications, with safety as the ultimate goal. As a documentation expert, Jason is well versed in the latest Department of Transportation requirements and works closely with operators to maintain regulatory compliance on an ongoing basis. Jason first joined HT Engineering as field support specialist in 2015. Prior to coming on board, he worked in secondary mathematics and science education for more than a decade.
Right Sizing Integrity Digs with Desktop and Field Validation
“There’s no way that pipeline segment requires 60 digs,” we thought as we reviewed an ILI tool vendor’s final report. Our team at HT Engineering had worked on that line over the course of multiple integrity cycles and were very familiar with it. We had a pretty good idea of what to expect from an Ultrasonic Crack Detection (UTCD) tool on this pipeline, but this wasn’t it.
