Daniel Mead joined HT Engineering in 2019 with the role of expanding the company’s drawing and CAD capabilities.

He has a long history of experience with CAD and design that he brings to the production of 3D piping models as well as the 2D drawings and schematics needed to communicate the design requirements in the field. He also uses HT Engineering’s 3D laser scanner to capture detailed scans of work sites and process the data for input into pipeline designs. His drawing expertise and eye for detail help ensure clarity and accuracy for complex projects. Daniel graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lansing Community College in 2017 with a degree in manufacturing engineering technology design. Before working at HT Engineering, Daniel produced drawings of firetrucks at HME Truck, and worked as an engineering intern at Whirlpool Corp, where he developed and patented new appliance component design.
